Traveling from 21,July to 4, August 2012.
We bought the tour in “Pegas Touristics”, and since it was done too late
(2 weeks before starting date) all flight tickets from Nizhny were sold and we had to book the flight from Moscow.
We traveled to Moscow by car. We left Nizhny at 3 AM and reached the Moscow suburbs in 4.5 hours; but then, 2 hours were lost in a traffic jam at the entrance to the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). All parking places were busy. But the guard found a place for us, for additional 200 rubles in his pocket. We did not mind. The official place cost was 3100 rubles for 2 weeks.
The schedule flight time was 13.20, but it took off only at 17.45. We were in Barselona late in the evening.
The vacation with 2 children
We took 2-days sightseeing tour by bus. You can go sightseeing and continue on another tour bus.
We were in Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s Park, L’aquarium
Besides Barcelona we were into the park AquaLion. We reached the park by public bus for a half an hour.
Park has small Safari and slides for any ages. We went there at rainy day, so the queues on slides were not long.
Other days we spent near the hotel.
San Salvador hotel located not from Barcelona in Coma-Ruga.
It took 35-40 minutes to get from Barcelona airport to the small town Coma-Ruga.
We arrived at 10 pm, too late for diner. At this time all shops were closed, so there was not possible to buy water and tea.
Hopefully we found the machine with water in our hotel.
At the reception, not all employees know English, but it was not a problem.
Receptionists were actively using “Google translate” to talk with customers any languages.
The hotel is not big. In the room there is almost no furniture, but it is not old,
despite the fact that the hotel is built in the last century. The room is “sea view”, if you lean to bolkon
(the sea view from balkon is at the picture at the left :).
The room was very clean when we arrived. But while we were living there, cleaning was not good, especially the first week.
Linen changed once, right before departure.
The food (we took HB) was very good. Lots of fruits. If you do not eat all dishes every day, but try only few of them,
it will be possible during 2 weeks to try smth. new. They served champagne for breakfast and Ice-cream for dinner.
At the diner there were no free drinks and you cannot carry water with you. We were buying water for children, beer and wine for us.
It’s not expensive. A bottle of wine costed about 6 EUR.
Free Internet is available in foye. However, on the first floor there is a toilet smell in lobby.
So for me it was possible to use Internet on second floor only.
The pool is good enough as for children as for adults. There is a swimming area for small children. My daughter (6 years old) learned to swim there not bad. Although she attended swimming lessons in kindergarden before, she could not swim till this summer.
The hotel was located not far from the sea. It took 5 minutes’ walk with children. We liked the beach.
Entrance to the sea was perfect as for children who can’t swim as for people who love to swim. The beach was crowded on weekends,
when many local families came to rest.
For children, there is an amusement park with swings and a trampoline walking distance from hotel.
If you walk along the promenade in the direction of Coma Ruga – is unusual attractions “obstacle course” both for adults and for children.
My daughter loved “obstacle course”.

Sometimes there were evening entertainments with national dancing or illusionist show.
The overall impression of staying is good. The cost of this trip is 130,000 rubles (4000$) for 4 persons (2+2) with the flight and visas.
